Filthy Animals

Filthy Animals Podcast

Filthy Animals is a sex, drugs, and ecology podcast for grown-ups. Every month, science educators discuss unusual adult activities of the natural world that your high school science teacher was too embarrassed to talk about.

This podcast features hosts Rachel Roth, Nicole Brown, and Allan Saylor of Kansas-based nonprofit Grassland Groupies.

Why Filthy Animals?

This podcast is our ode to biological science and scientific literacy. We dive into research, read the papers, and celebrate the scientific works that aren’t always saving the world.

Sometimes science is awkward, horrifying, and even inspiring. Sometimes it’s just fun to learn new things.

We cannot save our favorite biomes without understanding science.
